So today I "Googled" my name.. I know you must be thinking "Self Obsessed".. anyways!!! and then I came across this Blog of mine.. It made me think why I didn't continue writing? I have so much to write / share / tell... So here I am today.... lets see how much I can keep up with all the other stuff that is going on in my life...
Also the much awaited and talked about prediction in 2012, "Apocalypse / Armageddon / End of World" didn't take place which was predicted on 21st Dec 2012.
It was almost like an event. All the news channels talking about it...the astrologers cashing the entire episode with full drama (more than our "Saas Bahu serials") and the list goes on.
Moving to Political world
So a "fresh" political party was formed this year "AAP - Aam Aadmi Party".
From Protesting on roads to Parliament, this party has seen all and experienced even more all through their journey towards its goal.
As the name says - Its supposed to be for the welfare of AAM AADMI ( common man) in India to fight against corruption and other issues in our country which our so called politicians have failed to address.
The "karta and dharta" (founder ) Arvind Kejriwal with their party symbol "broom" has swept votes from the leading parties in a short span.
Quite an achievement I must say... Let us all hope that this Aam Aadmi Party will remember their promises and will not become - "Ab Aashwasan se Palti" Party..
Okay from Political Science to Geography..
God!!!! I hated Social Science my entire life!!!..
So Andhra Pradesh (Located in South India ) is going to be divided into 2 regions mainly Telangana and RahilSeema / Seema Andhra.
So after continent drift 1000 yrs ago.. its human who is eager to divide themselves and be happy about it. I don't know if its going to benefit any one but certainly its going to affect India. When would our politicians learn to work for the benefit of the country and not for their Swiss Banks.
Lets move to sports now...
The God of Cricket - Sachin Tendulkar took his retirement for good at the age of 40 (unlike gov job / IT where the age limit is 58-60) and we wonder why our Middle Class parents never encouraged us to pursue our career in Sports. For them its always the number of years we work. They give a damn about the package / fame.
Yes guys call me a drama queen.. but that did hurt. SOB!! SOB!!
May god bless this "Bharat Ratna" with all the happiness in life :)
So as this year was ending, the world was mourning on the demise of "Madiba" - Nelson Mandela -
South Africa's first black President, Nobel Prize winner and Anti-Apartheid Icon. A revolutionist and inspiration for many more generations to come. RIP.
WHOA!!! What a year !!!! Right?
Yeah with this its a wrapping now and hope 2014 would be much more colorful and would bring more joy and less worries in all of your lives..

So this year has really been very tough...for me.. as well as for the ruling party - Congress...Well!!! I suppose and hope my worries would be fixed but the way Congress is progressing I don't think it would ever be "FIXABLE".

Coming back to our Master Blaster's retirement - The most touching moment was neither his last speech on the ground.. nor the AVs about his achievements.. not even when people were crying their heart out when he left the ground..But when Wikipedia updated his profile as "FORMER INDIAN CRICKETER".
